ChildbirthingClasses
OLMC offers classes for pregnant women (and a support person) in preparation for the birth of her child. Each session includes weekly classes. This is a great way to prepare for labor and birth.
Classes vary in length and includes engaging talks by a qualified instructor, one on one discussions, and helpful exercises.
Sessions will cover the

Stages and Phases of labor,

Common medical interventions,

Labor coping and partner support
-
Working towards a positive and bonding childbirth.

Wellbeing Recall & Support
An ongoing and accurate recall system to remind clients to have regular check ups; documenting and following up with participants.
Other OLMC support groups such as: Classes for new moms and their babies offering guidance, parenting and resources, and fitness centers where clients can exercise together and have fun in a clean friendly environment.

"Mommy & Me" Classes
New moms can bring their infants to OLMC classes that will offer support, guidance and parenting resources, and a new baby package.
Topics in the classes can include:

Songs to sing to your little one

How to interact with your two week old infant,
-
What can my baby see & hear
-
What to expect from your 2,3,4,5,6 month old.

Infant care and safety
Each class will be guided by a trained Child Specialist Instructor.

Stroller Fitness
The program will provide a fitness class that allows both mom and the baby (4 weeks - 2 1/2 years of age) to exercise together, and have fun with other moms in the community.
Currently there is no program that allows babies to exercise with their moms in the country. Sharing this program will allow OLMC to offer it at other locations.

Lactation Support Group
Certified Lactation Consultant support will be held 2 a month at to be determined locations. Lessons on the advantages of breastfeeding will be taught, and help will be given to first time moms on the techniques of breastfeeding.
OLMC will start out as an attachment to the local clinics, and evaluate the possibility of opening an independent clinic.
Services will be free for all.

Mom's & Dad's Support Group
This OLMC group will provide emotional support for new moms, plus the opportunity for open discussions about concerns about the baby and other parenting issues.
OLMC will offer:

Medical and dental screens

Developmental, Health and Wellness screening

Classes for dads.
Members also learn about bathing, soothing, and sleeping of baby. Sessions will be held at local allocations.
Services will be free for those all.

Support & Empowers Women to Self-Sufficiency
OLMC is dedicated to educate, inspire, encourage and empower women in the rural areas in life skill trainings and job training to be self-reliant.
Program members are motivated to learn and improve; and trained in topics like self-esteem, leadership, business management, and entrepreneurship. The program teaches members how to manage basic accounting by recording income and expenses, and teach them how to invest in, optimize, and carry out an emergency savings plan.
Women in the rural areas, reinvest 90% of their income into the family, ensuring that their children are well fed, clothed, sheltered and able to get education.
OLMC provides valuable information and resources, ensuring that the women in the rural areas are able to live independently and sustainably.
Prenatal Yoga - In Person
OLMC is dedicated to educate, inspire, encourage pregnant women in the rural areas to attend yoga classes in person.
